Eugene Choi is the CEO and Co-founder of Collab Asia, Inc.—a venture-backed digital content studio and influencer network with offices in Seoul, Tokyo, Jakarta, Hong Kong and Manila. Collab Asia directly manages over 150 musicians’ YouTube channels and 15,000 sound recording and music video assets on YouTube. He began his career at advertising agency Carat USA, where he supported media planning efforts for Hyundai and Kia. He then joined entertainment marketing agency EMP and was instrumental in its subsequent acquisition by Ketchum—an Omnicom company. Eugene later worked as a Senior Analyst in the Strategy and Planning group at CJ America, the US-based subsidiary of a Korean conglomerate, and also consulted for Fuji Television, a major TV network in Japan. Eugene has produced two reality show projects with Electus as part of YouTube’s Original Channels initiative and a documentary TV series with Arirang TV. Eugene has an MBA (International Business) from the USC Marshall School of Business and a BA (Mass Communications) from UC Berkeley.
