The Lemons was founded in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in 2004. The band secured a devout following after their impassioned set at the 2006 Playtime Festival (Mongolia’s first biggest rock fest).

Their debut “Red Album” was the first indie rock album released by the band to achieve a national commercial success that started a new wave in Mongolian rock music scene. The band released 3 studio albums and “Unplugged in UB”, also participated in showcase festivals such as SXSW 2018 and ZANDARI.
